Attention Dancers:

This year marks my 35th anniversary of teaching dance. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your trust and confidence over the years. It is with mixed emotions that I announce my retirement from dance instruction this fall.

I have loved sharing the joy of dance with so many throughout my long career. I am honored to end my career here in St. Albert where I have spent so many of these years. It has been my privilege to encourage so many to do what they didn’t think they could, to push those that know they can, and to bring people together in this unique connection that is dance. During my time as a dance instructor, I have worked with many thousands of students and I hope that all of you continue to dance for the rest of your years. I am grateful to have been on this amazing journey, touching the lives of so many.

I will continue to teach my current lessons up to the beginning of November. Any monetary credits or refunds will be paid out by the end of November. Please contact me if you have a credit on file.

As I wanted to ensure my students receive quality instruction as they continue to dance, I am recommending Elise Millard (Seehagel). She is an independent ballroom dance instructor teaching in St. Albert and Edmonton and has over 15 years of experience. I have discussed this with her and she is excited to work with any of my students interested. You can contact her at 780-504-1545,, or check out her website

I would also encourage you to sign up for Kim's Dance Weekly, if you have not already. Simply send her an email and ask to be added to her mail list. This will keep you connected with the Edmonton and area dance community. She sends out a weekly email with dances, events, and also information about dance instructors and studios. I want you to keep on dancing!

This was not a decision made lightly. I hope that you will all have fond remembrances, and lots of dances from our time together. I am looking forward to new adventures in my future and will look back with love on this stage of my journey in life. I sincerely thank you for your incredible support that you have provided over the years. It will not be forgotten.
